I used to be scared to increase the weight. I was scared I couldn't hold it, scared I'd drop it, scared I'd hurt myself.
**Progress comes in so many different ways**
Yesterday I realised the confidence in my strength at the gym has grown significantly.
I'm more trusting in myself to increase the weight I'm lifting with dumbbells.
I know I'm strong enough to lift the weight up to start the exercise.
I know I'm strong enough to control it without someone spotting me.
Yes, there are still days when I talk myself out of it. And those days I'm bummed when I later realise I could have done it.
Here's a video of me completing more reps than I expected to do at this weight and it felt awesome!
Don't let that self-doubt convince you you can't, you CAN do it!
